It is also possible that he is estimating the TPW. There is another thread that has a table that estimates the time between transitions from 2000 to 3800. It was pretty accurate in my case. When I went to 2000 I was able to predict my TPW 4 weeks in advance. Which, by the way, is this week and confirmed by Viz. It takes about 26 days to go from 2000 to 3800 (give or take a few days).
