As this thread is more about bridging the gap between a track oriented car which many owners are trying to make safer for street use. They still want to have an excellent experience with the vehicle when they switch tires and your continuous talk of weight and lap times is unecessary. If an owner wants to invest in "multi use" tire then I will stand by an RE11 all day for excellent street manners in dry and wet with warmer temps which will still give them a very fun experience in performance driving events. Never have I said anything about using a tire for times. The car is equipped, off the floor, with capable tires. Ill make certain to say anyone trying to be awesome, drive with Trofeos at proper psi and decent temps on the track.

This thread breaks down many ways. If an owner can do 2 sets or more of tires, trying balance performance is not such a specific ordeal. Maybe the goal is to not have multiple sets and someone wants insight and experience with their tire choice. Again, this thread can do that without
100% agree! Can't wait to get my RE11As installed. The Trofeo is a great track tire and usable on the street, but I wish I had replaced them Day 1. I am confident that the RE11As will be better for daily driving, which is what I do with my car. If I were going to be driving the car to the edge of its limits then I'd stick w/ Trofeos.
