I'd get the lawyer involved get some independent tests done and Mail the results along with the lawyer letter . If that doesn't get you anywhere then I'd suck it up, cut my losses and take the car to an honest local mechanic for repair on your dime it may be not as serious and costly as you think could be less than a thousand dollars to fix it which is less than a lawyer will want to even litigate such a claim . In a court room it is unlikely you'll win because they have picture proof that modifications were done which we all know is bogus . but to a judge who probably doesn't know a (catch can from an turbo charger )that may give him an easy reason to go their way . Don't be surprised if the dealer you took it too was in on it . They want to be sure they get paid so they could have took pictures of that catch can and raised concern before doing anything to ensure they get that good warranty money. They might have screwed the whole warranty issue up by prematurely blowing the whistle on your modifications out of fear of not getting paid by gm. The dealers are not your friend their goal is to make as much money off you as possible
