There are others that are still reporting in forums that the oil pump pressure relief valve got stuck even on their newer cars. It's been a PI since 2009 ("PIP4158C: Low Oil Pressure Due To Seized Oil Pressure Relief Valve - (Dec 29, 2009)". Some have noticed scuffs on the side of the relief valve piston - when they manually moved it, then it slammed back to the shut position where it should be to allow full pressure.
Here is a video that shows operation of an oil Pressure Relief valve related to problem on following Aluminum V8 Engine RPOs: L76, L77, L92, L94, L99, L9H, LC9, LH6, LH8, LH9, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS7, LS9, LSA, LZ1).
He mentions Camaro.

Maybe if the OP contacts one of the GM Service Reps that monitor this forum they will be able to help since they likely have seen threads on this problem many times.
