If everything is as YOU say and they aren't claiming the Air Intake was faulty instead, this is an open and shut case. Do not stop to collect $200.00 do not talk to anyone else, do not make any decisions until you have consulted an attorney.

OP, you've gotten two good posts from Criticalmass. Please follow his advice. Do the math. If you do nothing now, you're out at least the cost of the repair on your own dime. The cost of speaking with a lawyer, especially one who specializes in consumer issues, will be a faction of that. You will likely get GM to cover at least half of the cost, maybe more. Don't let them stonewall you over what is a ridiculous claim. There is no way they can prove a CC caused an oil pressure failure. I had a similar issue with the warranty on a 2005 Chevy Duramax I was having fuel injector issues with. Dealer took photos, one of which was an Edge Insight monitor on the dash. Chevy said, "no warranty" because I had a tune installed. I told them it was just a monitor, literally digital gauges, and they still said no. I told them to check the ECM, knowing there was no tune, and they said "didn't matter, you hooked something up to the OBDII port, and it could have affected the injector balance rates." Knowing this was BS, and that the Edge was just a gauge package, I fought. Bottom line, they replaced my injectors, kicking and screaming, but they fixed them. Don't bow down to a BS claim.
Side note, I too have a CC, and glad I saved the stock "U" hose. If this happens to me, I'll change the hose back to stock before I bring it in, just to avoid the hassle. They will probably tell me the headers caused the oil pressure issues thought, huh??
