I am more concerned with the oil pump issue itself and the fact that GM is using an unrelated mod to deny a warranty claim on what is basically a new car. I wouldn't want a claim denied for the Z/28 intake I installed on mine. (One reason I went with OEM instead of CAI or Roto Fab, not necessarily performance)
When I had my 2010 V6 I was paranoid about the timing chain, now I'm paranoid about the oil pump in my LS3... Ugh.
