I have an Elite Engineering catch can, and forwarded this to them a few days ago. Glad to see they have engaged in the thread. I considered removing the can, deleting it from my sig both here and at SSforums.com, but have decided against it. I'll not be intimidated by strong arm tactics no matter the cost. GM is obviously making a big mistake, not only technically but business wise as well. This isn't good business, and with Mustangs and Challengers out there this will make some people second guess the Camaro and GM as a whole. I would have considered(OK not really) the Charger deer scat if it had three pedals, but it didn't. I'm glad because I love my car, but many people aren't brand loyal and things like this will have people jumping ship. I do hope that for the OP and for all the rest of us running catch cans that this is handled correctly by GM in the long run, it is up to all of us to keep the pressure on.
As for the dealership running the car for 1/10th or one mile or one minute, this is why I have a dashcam that never shuts off. It is my proverbial fly on the wall. From accidents to oil changes, it is an invaluable tool that lands documented proof in your corner every time. If the OP had video of the dealership driving his car with a known oil pressure issue resulting in whatever issues now exist, and GM was aware of this video, one has to wonder if the tune being sung would have a sweeter melody. If you don't have a dashcam, get one. They are cheap insurance against unscrupulous drivers and dealerships.
We are pulling for you Superman09.
