I think that depends on your TPW (Target Production Week). I gather that one of the things that happens at 3300 is you get a TPW, so you'll know how long it will be before it goes to 3400. Viz told me my TPW before my dealer did, heh.
After that I waited until my TPW - which is this week - to ask again. The first time I asked during my TPW, on Tuesday evening (Monday being a holiday in the US, although I gather these are being built in Canada.... hmmm...), the status had gone to 3400 (Broadcast). The next step after that is a VIN, so they've hopefully been building my baby this week.
