I gave up the powertrain warranty on my Camaro 2 yrs ago with a custom tune. I have, however, an Elite catch can on my otherwise stock 2015 Silverado with an extended warranty bought and payed for. I'm seriously debating whether or not to pull the can off.

One thing for sure, I will no longer recommend a catch can, cold air intake or exhaust mod to anyone. I certainly don't want to be responsible for someone losing their powertrain warranty because of my recommendation. I wouldn't be surprised if others share this same sentiment.
I'm not surprised at the silence. In fact I'm a little surprised that Elite has shared as much as they have. There's really nothing that Elite, or any single aftermarket manufacturer can do for this guy, or anyone for that matter. What they can do, and very well may be doing, is teaming up with SEMA, as a collective force to put pressure on all auto manufacturers. Blasting this intention on car forum may hurt this cause more than help it.

As far as some of the simpler to install/uninstall mods, yeah, pull them and put the stock stuff on before going to the dealer for service. Of course, if it's on the side of the road, and the stock pcv tubing is in the garage, that could be a problem.
