Your blue bowtie goggles are forcing you to only post the parts of the warranty that keeps GM from being anything less than flat out wrong. If you have half a brain (and I feel you do) and take those goggles off, you'll read the entire warranty and understand why the OP has a case and is getting jammed in the bunghole by the man.

That fact that he doesn't wish to pursue it doesn't mean they where right in what they did.

It doesn't really matter at this point. The OP says he's done and just wants his car fixed. While I don't get it, I respect him for it.

Moral of the story, don't listen to any of these aftermarket company's sales pitches about not losing your warranty when buying their products or anyone else for that matter. Don't so much as hang an air freshener from you mirror if you are worried about your warranty because manufacturers are saying "f" you to people everyday no matter what MMA says.
