Almost very nearly It's commonly called "ordinance" but an "ordinance" is actually a legal rule within a town or city.

"Ordnance" is in a broad sense military supplies or weapons. Specifically it indicates munitions, as in weapons and ammunition....but then depending on who is making the definition it can be a lot more. For example, the robotic systems I was involved with technically are classified as "Arms" under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
