Something everyone should take notice of......
The new AC Delco oil filters (have the letter "E" after the numbers) have plastic in them now holding the paper element in place. They used to be all metal inside.
Someone I know well (also a Camaro 1LE guy) has a scrap peice of metal LS motor in his shop right now because of it.
The plastic piece in the filter broke and the paper was sucked into the oil pump. Metal was used to hold the paper in place before.
Needless to say what happened next. He is presently in a battle with GM over "their" oil filter.
