it's like which one is better, the yellow or black Camaro ? Purely personal preference. There are pros/cons to both and depends on how you intend to drive your camaro.

I got the auto, I'm 42 and over the whole "stick is fun" argument which I felt when I was younger. Probably age has quite a bit to do with personal preference here. Peformance is about the same, auto more convenient in traffic, parking, etc. No mountain race course driving for me so no need for stick. If you like to race in twisties or need to shift up/down around corners which the paddles are not good for then consider the stick. Or if you like to rev the engine and drop the clutch to impress the chicks (not sure if that really works) then go for the stick. Cost wise ? Stick.

All I want is to be able to punch it and go quickly in a straight line, auto does fine for that and is very consistent.
