Why not... am I missing something with regard to how they work or maybe it is just my general lack of knowledge about engines in general.
Regardless I would like to know because I tend to look at a throttle controller as a device that shortens an exponential curve to reach WOT...
Lets say a VTC is on the car... if you set it to the max setting of 9 the throttle starts a 0 and increases to 100 in say half the time it would at a setting of 5. Obviously it does this by adding a sum to the actual pedal reading... but.... in the end you reach WOT sooner.... yes? Even if it is not an exponential curve... it still adds / increases the value...
or am I still way off base.
