I try to avoid blackouts where ever I can. It gets boring after a couple of hours with no TV - can't watch the game, beer gets warm and the ice cream winds up melting all over the freezer.
When we had the blackout in the summer of 2002 it was hot and so without the a/c it was a sucky night....:(
