I think that because the camera is so close to the pavement, plus the depth is a little skewed... seems closer than it probably is and for that to fit into the view of the camera... my eyes are telling me that is a small car :P Plus the windows being so dark kinda add to the toy'ness.
What's on the ground beneath the car giving off reflection ? Manhole?

I think it's just the light shining onto the pavement on the other side of the car. The pavement curvature really helped on this shot.
