The single biggest bang for the buck mod that can be made to a 2010 5th Gen is to upgrade the rear lower control arms and rear sway bar to the Z-style setup first seen on the ZL1. The original rear bar mounts inboard. closer to the differential than the wheels. ALL 2010 - 2012 SS models under-steer badly because of this. Upgrading to a 1LE or ZL1 28mm rear bar and lower control arms transforms the early SS models into great handling more neutral cars. You can pick the bars up cheap as take offs from those that have upgraded to my 32mm rear bar or go big front the start.

Your SS won't look any different, but you'll have far more smiles per mile with the driving experience.
