I returned Sunday from about a 900 mile round trip vacation. The car was all shiny and ready to leave, but of course, the morning we left, there were some very small showers in the area and well, it was dirty after the first 60 miles. Then we hit a couple more showers on the way up. Car was very dirty when we arrived. And well, the same thing on the way back too, so by the time I washed the car on Monday night, it looked like a DD after a month of driving. Now, it's all polished and shiny again, but still need to polish the exhaust and well, it was too freakin hot when I got off work yesterday, but it will get done before the weekend is here. I have a 1700 mile round trip coming up in Aug. That will be through the Appalachian mnts so the rims will be covered in brake dust... bad. I make this trip every year and it's a fun trip, but the clean up after is a lot of work (and I enjoy every bit of it too )
