Oil level was a quart down so I added a 1/2 qrt and the alarm happened once again at first low dimple. Other than that PSI is 28 at warm idle, in the 40s at 1,500 rpm or above. 20k on the car. Seems the alarm goes off just when oil might be surging in the pan due to stopping on an incline Thoughts?

Update 8/4/16 Changed oil today. 30min driving no problem mostly hiway. Exiting a fairly level off ramp about 40mph while still in 6th I had to come to quick stop -because some A-hole limo driver with NY plates (probably Mesheet Mydraws from Buttfuknstan ) must have realized he made a wrong turn and decides to stop on the ramp so I push the clutch in, no time to downshift, and apply the brakes ( no skiddding ), immediately the Dashlogic low Oil pressure <20psi display appears & chimes for 1-2 secs same as when qt low. Come to conclusion that only rpm and/or engine load% affect PSI not qty in pan
