Did anybody read this and catch this part:
Every Camaro comes with the staggered half-shafts, even for those of you who might choose to have your SS equipped with an automatic. In this case, the automatic is a six-speed unit (6L80 in GM Powertrain parlance) that features shift paddles on the steering wheel. Each downshift will be accompanied by a rev-matching throttle blip.
Paddle shifters?? It just keeps getting better and better

OK so here's the deal. I'm pretty busy through next Wednesday, and I think I spend too much time posting here as it is (evidence: my post count). Given the way information is flowing now, there's no way I can keep up with commenting on it all. How the mods manage to read every post is beyond me. Props to you guys. So you won't see me around here much for the next few days. In fact I don't even think I need to post much. Words can't do this justice. I have only this to say: in my opinion, this is just about perfect. There is not one thing now that disappoints me. I will be getting my SS (possibly with RS package) as soon as financially feasible. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out, and a HUGE thanks goes out to everyone who worked on this car. Honestly, I have nothing more to say. WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |
