I have searched and searched for an upgraded bushing kit for our shifters with no luck. I know hurst now makes a bushing that goes in the end of the shift lever its self. But what about the rubber bushings at the end of the shift base. The MTI shifter has Delrin or nylon bushings in the two holes that go to the trans. Wish someone made those in brass.

Mustangs have the option of brass bushings up front and poly ones shown here. Not sure how similar they are. The shifter is different but the trans are the same or similar tr6060. Anyone tried them?
