Well, lets see... woke it up at about 430am... pulled out of my parking spot, heading for a freeway entrance.
Hopped on the 91 west giving it a good roar up the ramp and then slowed to a complete crawl because... well... its the 91 on a weekday. Worst Traffic this side of LA... I've got stories lol. I mean, Manhattan Beach to Riverside, 4hrs? C'mon!!
After some frustration and about 30 minutes in, I managed to crawl up 5 miles or so onto the Fastrack. Thank God for the Fastrack. Now I'm doing 80, cruising with some traffic the whole time enjoying the roar of that beautiful beast currently parked out there.
Hopped on the 55 South all the way to 17th in CM, passing the 5 and 405 and all that... At this point I am just loving the ride, the tone note, the roar and the simple effort of passing any one and anything even in 6th with just a dash of gas. Cruising with traffic, cars respect, move over... slow down... such an amazing feeling.
I say to myself, mods lol... I must thank the man that though of them lol. That's probably every man. It has all been worth it... headers/exhaust, suspension, intake, tune... all the junk in between, and even the sheer gorgeousness of the car I made mine! Freakin a... this car is just great!
So I did what I had to do in Costa Mesa, then hopped back on the 55, up the 5 a bit, onto the 57... very much enjoying the ride... was I grinning? Probably. So through the 57, which has got some horrible bumps and bruises and was kinda rough on the suspension. That freeway needs work! Onto the 10! That's how many freeways in a span of about 4hrs?
10 is cruising, got out... and Home Base!
All in all a good day. A very good day...
