First impression of the trashcan delete is favorable, slight drone in car, but tolerable. Seems to have a noticeable low end torque increase, certainly does not sound like my muffler fell off and honestly I did not notice the AFM activating via sound change.

I agree, I had my mufflers chopped off yesterday, straight piped, with nice tips, left the resonator and all 4 cats. Course I do also have Doug Thorley shorties too.
It has almost an exotic V8 (ie ferrari, lambo V8) tone to it while driving at times. Sounds pretty cool. Louder than stock, of course, but isnt too loud, I think it sounds good. Startup and idle is cool too.
Even in V4 mode, I dont mind it. Wierdest part is when it switches from V8 to V4, and back to V8, it has a moment of wierd sound. But it is definately livable.
