seriously... smack your dealer in the face. unless you are getting the v6, you need 91 or higher in the car.
tell the dealer not to fill it up. drive it to the gas station, get the reciept and tell them to reimburse you. only true way to guarantee whats in the tank. even then, id still drive it for a while then do the fuse pull when you change the oil.

the thing to keep in mind is that this car is made to stick to the ground. spinning the tires is a waste of power. yeah, its cool, and yeah, I've done it numerous times in all of my cars. but GM designed this car to hook. dont be upset if you cant get the tires loose (without a 5000rpm clutch dump)

nope. not at all
reason being is this: the lower an engine can idle (without stumbling) is a proven factor of how well the engine is tuned. my 94Z A4 idles right at 500rpm in park/neutral and around 4XX or so in gear.
the LS3 should idle above 600 however, but the L99 should idle lower than that (esp in gear)
