crashed is one word. mishap, emergency, accident are another.
the last incident I can remember was in Nov of '07. hydraulic leaks caught fire and they had to set down in Camp Legune.
I remember, cus I was at Legune for Jfex training when it happened.
there were a handful of accidents all thru 2000-07. its still one of those ideas that the wrong people get in their head that they need to have it, regardless of cost (both financially and physically).
to me, helos of any type dont actually fly. they are just so ugly that the earth repels them. lmao
