I have on in my old Beetle and one in my FFR. Both are carburated and run hot in the engine bay. Don't have, don't need, don't want one in any of my newer cars. Full Coverage with State Farm is what I carry. Likes someone said, I wouldn't want to save it anyway. Let em burn, get paid, buy new one! Besides, by the time your new car (now) catches on fire (years from now), the agent in the bottle would have already dried up! Unless of course you are routinely checking, refilling, or replacing it. On the flip side, doesn't hurt anything to carry one. Ok, I think I just convinced myself to carry one in the trunk.
