Now I'm not going to knock on GT too much as I am a fan of all Sim racers (and some arcade) but GT has religiously left out needed features in games... For crying out loud... they are just now coming out with damage? and then that damage is not going to be incorporated on all their cars, only Race class cars will have damage

Yes the game will have a 1000 cars... but how many will be rehashes of the same car?

Yes, someone on GT Planet said Dec 29th release date... then that date was removed. And I ask you.. how many times has the game been pushed back?
I will be ecstatic, if the game comes out on the 29th, I will be buying it and playing it, as I have played ALL the GT games.

Don't get me wrong GT is a great game, it was a pioneer for consul racing games, but hopefully PD will get their head out of their ass, and redo the physics engine. Teach it's casual players that spinning out every car on the track = consequences, not winning the race.

Now don't think I am a total Forza Fan boy (though I lean in its direction as of late) It does have its draw backs, it's not nearly as pretty as GT, it does not have GT's pedigree. Some Night racing would have been nice. Would have LOVED some open wheeled F1 cars.

Personally, Forza 3 will have what I want. I can take my Camaro, soop it up, and eventfully turn it into full fledged Race car. All this without having to purchase GT2's livery. If I don't want the car to have a single sponsor on it... it won’t.. I can keep it all one color. I can essentially make the car mine. That is what I am looking for.

Sorry to hijack this thread, NFS has always been a fun arcade racer and will always be a fun arcade racer. It will pass the time while I wait for Forza to release.
im not trying to start an argument, but the physics engine is being redone, it got pushed back because of GT PSP, which was pushed back because of GT5, GT5 prologue, GT4, GT4 prologue, and that demo that came out when the PS3 came out. and i was reading an article where PD was saying that they could never really incorporate damage because of the large car fields they have in their games. because other manufacturers would agree on something where others wouldnt. Thats why you see games with lower amount of cars have damage. but F2, i really didnt care that it had damage because i didnt like the game at all, and the damage in that game was a joke IMO. i think the physics system is FAR WORSE than GT5 prologue's. but whatever. im a HUGE NASCAR fan, and a camaro guy and that is in GT5 so i will be getting GT5. and maybe rent F3
