Hello from First Time Owner
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to this.
Three months ago I bought a used 83,000 mile 2011 Camaro LS V6, 6-speed standard transmission and I love it. It's in great shape and runs like a champ. There are a number of upgrades I would like to do to it but unfortunately, I've never had much experience working on cars beyond oil changes, fuel filter changes, spark plugs, headlamps etc.. I never had anyone to really teach me how to mod a car and would love to hear how you guys got started and would appreciate any help!
Right now it's bone stock but I would like to swap out the entire intake/exhaust system; cat-back exhaust (thinking Flowmaster AT, or MRT 2), cold air intake (K&N, or BBK probably), as well as headers and high-flow cats, performance throttle body, switch to white light LED headlamps and add foglights, repaint it in same imperial blue metallic color to look new(some minor scratches and wear), tint windows, add rear quarter window louvers and maybe down the road add twin turbos or single turbo.
I'm saving up money for the exhaust and intake now and figure I'll start from the back and go forward so I can free up the power it already has and get the most of any mods that I do rather than adding headers/turbos and stuff but being handicapped by stock pipes.
She's my baby and only the second car I've owned. Previous one was a black 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 five-speed standard that I had for seven years and liked a lot.
I hope to learn a lot!
Thanks,
Will
