I will certainly be happy with any blown LSA derivative Camaro. But the lack of Z28 is a big deal to the long term enthusiast. That doesn't make it a bad business decision. It is just bad news.

...that's EXACTLY how I feel. Which is too bad, because I know that the people who were behind this comeback thought very much of the enthusiasts and our heritage as Camaro fans.
But when I hear
"Chevrolet is encouraging the SS strategy with cars such as the HHR SS and Cobalt SS. Consistent with this strategy, we have a Camaro SS"...I'm sorry it just sounds vanilla. Yes, I'm sure it will be very exciting to drive and the best bang for your buck as it always has been. But it sounds like this move was to make it "fit in" more with the Cobalt and HHR...which to me is an excuse. If that's the case, rebadge the ZR1 to SS and I'll shutup about it.
