My point is that to compare the 0-60 times of a 911/M3 to a Camaro is to compare the WORST thing the German cars do to the BEST thing the Camaro does.


The M3 and 911 are more about providing a thrilling drive while being in the highest class of quality... They put up great numbers too. M3's post high 12's all day long while having 10 less hp, and over 100lb/ft less...


And if you want a test that accurately depicts the handling abilities of a car at its limits you are going to want a slalom test, not a skidpad test. The M3, for instance, set a Slalom test record for a mass production car.
