Since the Z28 performance intake does not have this device is one of the reasons it is not carb certified and banned in California.
The stock intake on my Z28 is most definitely smog legal in California as I have smogged my car with no problems. I can look at the intake and measure stuff on it for you guys tonight if you still want it.
