Hey man, if the car was run on 87 or cheap gas before then you might want to look into the fuel map fuse pull (This time under the hood) to help reset the fuel tables. Basically if the car had shitty gas in it, it will sense that and pull timing as it sees fit to prevent problems, and unfortunately, even if it may sense premium gas back in it, it won't reset to the advanced timing by itself.

This may be entirely irrelevant, but throwing it out there. I did it with mine because the dealer had 87 in it and the car felt like a slug.
