It appears to me like some of your brake duct cooling hoses are of the variety that have metal wire infused in them to give them a more consistent structure. If I'm right about that, please know that if these are still installed a decade or two from now, there is a good chance the metal in some places gets exposed to air and corrodes, and the tubing breaks down. I've seen that happen in aircraft where this same type of tubing is used to direct air flow.
The heritage grill and flow tie combination are really nice, in my opinion. Did you order the heritage grill as an option when you bought the car, or install a bit later? I wonder if the heritage grill is a bolt on/easy swap.
Glad you have enjoyed your 1LE, as I have also! One thing I wonder about with the new '17 1LE, is what the direct injection engine reliability will look like compared to the LS3. We probably won't have a definitive answer until more experience and results are collected from the current '16 and '17 SS owners, I would guess.
