Will the Z28 subframes, TR6060 transmission and rear-end hold up to 550 ponies? These components will have to be hardened to avoid the hard launch issues that we are currently seeing with only 426 ponies on the SS LS3/M6, and that will raise the price considerably.

I am imagining they will use the same transmissions that are in the CTS-V (I dont know if they are the same as the Camaro or not) seeing as those will for sure handle the power.
A lot of parts are going to come from the CTS-V bin just because they are already developed and that will keep costs down would be my guess.
