Just looked at Tire Rack for my new rubber. Not needing them right away but looking at tracking more than last year.
I typically run Hankook RS3 Version 2. But they quit selling them. It's a great tire and better than the Goodyear F1s. The F1s had 1 track day with about 11k total miles before they were toast. Now the RS3's have 5 track days and about have 1/2 life on them with about 7K. They are sticky enough to hold a nice late entry hard braking turn and are good with good indication of breaking lose on hard acceleration before losing the rear end.
So my question if I cant get the RS3's besides the Pilot Sports what are people running for track and occasional spin in the canyon runs?
