It's also quite possible that GM could keep the cost just below $40k. Upgrading to the LSA engine (w/supercharger) is about a $6,500 difference (probably a bit less) which still leaves $2-3k for driveline and suspension upgrades. I think your price range is a bit wishfull thinking. I am expecting a Base price of $49,995. The GT-500 is like 48k.
