I just installed the MGW and love it. I think they have upgraded the sound proofing materials and it didn't seem all that loud. Some people may not like the feel of the shifter since it does take more effort and the stock shifter is pretty nice.
I think it looks bitchin and the flat stick tilts back just a tad bit which made it feel more natural to me.
