I have worked with him before, I purchased the SCTx4 tuner from him and have one of his awesome tunes on my car. But I already wrote a review regarding that. This one is a bit different, in the fact that I didn't end up buying anything from him, but just experienced his great customer service.

*First and foremost, this isn't to bash any vendor or tarnish any reputation. I'll be censoring the name of a certain vendor on here for that reason.

I was looking to buy a Corsa Xtreme catback, as I love the way they sound with longtubes and cat deletes. I know someone who has the set up, and it sounded like 'Merica. However, they hold a hefty price tag, the usual going rate seemed to be somewhere between $1100-$1200. So I started checking around to see if anyone could cut me some extra savings, seeing how black Friday/cyber Monday was quickly approaching toward the end of the week. DynoSteve was able to quote me at a great deal of $1045 shipped (Hopefully I'm allowed to post prices that were negotiated?). That had been the best deal I had gotten so far, by a great means. However, just to cover my basis, I continued to reach out to vendors to see if anyone could beat that awesome price (In hindsight, I should have known you cant compete w/ DynoSteve ) This one vendor in particular, we'll call him Vendor X, responded with: "Thats a stupid low price for that, I don't know who gave that to you but I wont match that. They must not have a shop with bills to pay. Best I can do is $1100."
I replied with "That would be DynoSteve from RDP. I guess that's why he is the go-to guy around here haha. Anyway, thank you for replying, have a good day."
He then messaged back (in what I took as a rude way, take it how you will) "That's because he works from home and doesn't have bills to pay. He is only making a $15 profit from that sale, I own a shop and have bills."

After that I quit responding. To me, a simple I can't match that price, best I can do is $xxxx would have sufficed. It seems kinda of rude and unprofessional to make such comments towards another vendor because you can't match a low price that they have given. That being said, I don't know how true any of his comments were, as I have no means of finding out. I would assume DynoSteve works at the RDP shop, considering there is a business location for it and a phone number, that it's not an online store only. Making his statement about not having shop bills to pay false. If he was correct in saying that DynoSteve would have only made a $15 profit from that sale, what does that say about him other than he's awesome? I get sometimes they have to mark it up for the sake of business but that just tells me he isnt a typical vendor that feels the need to mark every product way up to make a healthy profit from it. That he takes great care of his customers, even if it means sacrificing profit or what have you in the long run.

Long story short; DynoSteve is a terrific guy that will always go above and beyond to make sure you're in the best hands possible, even if it means he hardly benefits from it, if even at all. And that is why he has and will continue to have my business, and the business of so many other members on here. Thanks from me and the rest of the community that value your efforts in taking great care of us here at Camaro5 Mr. Steve
11/10 would recommend
Is that the same vendor that tries to tell people how to spend their money regarding headers? Cant recall the name but i remember your thread. Sometimes its best to keep auctual dollars out of the conversation. Vendors have to know by now positive reviews go a long way on Camaro 5.
