There are several reasons but mostly because this discussion was prompted by Ford trying to draw attention away from how badly their 2010 models are outclassed by comparably priced competition in straightline speed. There are times I wonder about Ford's business & marketing choices like Taurus, no 500, no Taurus
but I think Ford is playing this one smart, it worked like a charm here afterall.
