yes, I know, another dash cam question. This one is more specific and I can't find an answer anywhere that I can understand.
I've currently got a fuse tap in fuse 17 on the driver's side panel. 20A fuse in there from the factory, and a 10A in the tap that is the hot wire for my interior LEDs
Now...I wanna install a dash cam. I'd like to tap into fuse 18, so as to not overload any one circuit, but can't figure out the best way to do that, as the tap in fuse 17 is blocking that chance.
Would it be possible to up the fuse size to a 20A for the 2nd (non-factory one) fuse, and then tie the dash cam positive into that wire coming off the tap? Or would that have the possibility of overloading the circuit?
Or, alternatively, is there any type of tap that is low-profile enough, or any other method that would allow me to tie into fuse f18 and still keep the tap in f17? Here's a pic of what she looks like now....thanks for any tips.
