Simply an amazing car. I was running 35 PSI in the fronts 37 PSI in the rear cold. At 36 all round the car had "a lot" of understeer. 305 Contis on all 4 corners - they never chunked but you can tell they've been heat cycled by looking at them. The tires were absolutely holding the car back. PTM was off after the first session

.
All slides were intentional (sometimes the angle was more than I expected though!). Car was planted when I wanted it to be or the rear would come around by giving it a deliberate amount of gas. Incredible driving experience - this was my first time hot lapping the Z. Time attack was fun but felt amazing to run laps again.
I got about 105 min on track yesterday. I did a straight 45 min session with zero temp issues. Oil was averaging 230, coolant was 200, air temps were close to 50f. During the 45 minute session I'd do 3 -4 hot laps (all out), take a cool off lap and grab another 3 -4 to protect the tires from chunking. I only came into the pits for 5 min to get out of the car, catch my breath and head back out.
Best lap was a 1:38.10 - Harry's had my theoretical best at 1:37.4. Can't even begin to imagine what the lap times would have been with the trofeos. I'll probably take the Trofeos to NCCAR in April. Gt350r was running 1:34s with Pilot Sport Cup 2s and a very competent instructor behind the wheel.
Summary of the car: balanced carving machine; oversteer when you want it and lots of control when it slides. A little slower on the straight then I would have hoped but otherwise a monster. Oh, and those brakes!! A+ machine. But we all knew that
Warning... Tires were harmed in the making of this video!
