Unless by some un-holy chance the car was put into a enclosed shipping truck by itself and never saw rail dust from the rail yards...
Seriously ? Clay the car once when you get it at the very least to get the rail dust and everything off that it gathered from its way of shipping.
Did you try the zip-loc baggy test? I did and my car was horrible. Felt smooth as silk until i actually tested to see if there were contaminants.. then I realized how bad it was.
