TRI-Y HEADERS OR TRADITIONAL LONG TUBES???
Tri-y's help to scavenge exhaust and get it out. I've put long tube Flow Tech Tri-y's on every hot rod I've owned. I'm not looking to mod my gen 5, but with 10 years of engine machine experience, I would go long tube Tri-y's, long tubes, or short tube Tri-y's (in that order). Edit: Let me clarify tho, I'm talking the old school small block chevy. The LS series motors I'm a bit less knowledgeable about. The I've Been out of the engine machine world for about a decade. LS3 or L99 might benefit more from regular long tubes.
