I second a square 275/40/20 setup. You could go larger, like a 1LE with 285s, or even a 305 like a Z/28, but if you're looking for a balance between economical and performance 275's are a good middle ground. I like the increase in the front end grip, it brought the over/understeer bias to be fairly neutral. And, I can rotate front to back, getting the most out of each tire.
