Coming across this thread I think has sold me on the BFGs for my ZL1. Weather isn't as much of an issue for me. Obviously, on cold mornings I had to be more careful but never felt in any real danger even at freezing temperatures. What was hurting was the fact that I'm only getting about 12k miles out of the GY so I was looking for a better option.
