My question is by having the IAT read low temps (like winter time) and high temps (summer) will these negatively affect the engine's performance over long periods of time?

Thanks.
Really shouldn't...

One thing I need to double check is my gas mileage... cooler temps means the computer in theory adds more fuel... but not knowing the details on how this ECU works it's only a wild guess until i really check my MPG... but seems my foot has been pretty heavy lately... LOL
