FINALLY did this 4 yrs later ...why did I wait so long Wasn't bad at all. Took a good hr+ and I was really taking my time that included attaching the GEN5DIY Dash ABL Harness in the center console while I had it open. In fact what took the longest was re-attaching the guage pack/shifter trim because of the space the ABL harness took up.

TIPS
- Move seats all the way back to remove side panels

- Move seats all the way foward to lift up console rear

- Move seats all the way back to get at YAW sensor

- Lift console lid up and use a long phillips#2 to get to the bottom 2 rear screws.

- No need to unplug anything or remove the entire console. Just lift and prop up the console rear ~5/6 inches. Gives you enough room to remove the YAW sensor

- Use a thin socket extension to get to the YAW sensor bolts. Just not enough room to fit socket wrench head without an extention.

Worked right away. No more fnnn HSA

I especially want to thank the OP for finding out and pionerring this and the others who provided their experience feedback.

GM personnel who approved this should be summarily dismissed. As some other poster said GM should have designed HSA to release the brakes instantanously when detecting that the clutch and brake pedal have been released combined with an increase in rpms ... if they fnnn program that CAGS sh*t ( gear, rpms & engine temp) they could have done this too! At the very least they should have displayed a red LED on the top middle of the dash trim to get and keep your attention along with the DIC msg until it released the brake.
