Shouldn't make assumptions! I don't know about the OP, but my tint was not done at a dealership, and not because I found it cheaper. I did some research, talked to a lot of the local car guys who are REALLY anal about their cars, and got the name of someone who was unanimously known as being the best guy in town, with TOP quality tints. Cost me considerably more than it would have if I'd gone with the dealership, but the tint looks incredible, will last a long time, and didn't cause me any FM reception issues.
Just because a dealership is affiliated with GM does NOT necessarily mean that they will do a good job.
