I don't set out to speed but it is TOO EASY to get above the speed limit in these cars. This unit has saved me numerous times since it was installed in July and it has helped me to maintain a better eye on my speed also.
All I have are 2 tiny blue LEDs in my dash mounted only where I would notice them.

I know exactly what you mean, i just had my camaro broken into in Chicago this last weekend for my damn V1
. Never even thought about taking it down. oops, learned my lesson, tints are being put on this week and i will always take it down when its parked outside.
