Originally $399.95/pr, speaker manufactures have been attempting (and failing miserably) to clone the Infinity sound quality at this price level for decades. The closest SQ comparison is the JL-C5 series and Hertz, which while they sound amazing, are over $500 /pr each.
I'll endorse the
Phoenix Gold ELITE 65.CS, but they cost slightly more than the Infinity and are mail order only. Image Dynamics also has an mid-level that are good, but again not @ "entry level pricing"
